This article explains the different settings that you can adjust for the clock system.

Updated over 10 months ago

Are you using Eitjeopdevloer? Then you can adjust some settings to the needs of the company. You can find the settings by clicking on the menu in the top right corner and then 'Venue settings'. Then on the left side click on 'Eitjeopdevloer'.

Device settings

Here you will find all the devices that have ever been linked. You can also generate codes for new devices or delete unused codes here. Read more about activating Eitjeopdevloer here.

Automatic rounding

With this setting, you determine the rounding off of the clocked times. You can choose average, to the top, or to the bottom. Example: You round off the start time by ten minutes to the top. If someone then clocks in at 9:52, this becomes 10:00 in the time registration.

Break time settings

You can add automatic breaks after a certain number of worked hours. For example: a fifteen-minute break after four hours and another fifteen minutes after six hours of work. The breaks are cumulative, so in the example, the team members get a break of thirty minutes in total.

There are three ways to register breaks in Eitjeopdevloer.

  1. Breaks that are added in the schedule.

  2. Automatic breaks that you add in the settings of Eitjeopdevloer.

  3. Breaks that you clock (you clock out for your break and then clock back in).

⚠️ Note: The break from the schedule takes precedence: if you add it to the schedule, the rest will be ignored. However, automatic breaks and clocked breaks do add up.

Break time editable

With this setting, you indicate whether your team members can adjust their break time themselves when clocking out. If this button is disabled, they cannot do this.

Clocking out automatically

In case a team member forgets to check out, Eitje automatically clocks them out at a certain hour to to prevent the clock from continuing to run. This hour is set in the settings for time registration under 'What time does the new day start'. This is set by default to 06:00.

However, there are companies, like hotels ,that run 24/7. In that case you can decide to disable the clock system from automatically clocking out for certain team members. You can do so in the profile information of a team members.
