Eitje has an open API, which means that you can load data from Eitje into other software.



What does an open API do?

Thanks to the open API, you can import data from Eitje into other software. Some examples of what you can do:

  • Import hours into a BI tool, so you can compare them with your revenue and other costs.

  • Put the revenue next to the worked hours and automatically distribute tips (monthly or weekly).

  • Load the information and contact details of team members from Eitje into another system and keep them in sync.

  • Retrieve sick reports of team members from Eitje.

If you want to retrieve other data from Eitje, contact us, so we can see what is possible. We are always open to feedback about the open API. You can also contact us if you experience any problems.


Activate open API

Follow these steps to activate the open API.

  1. Check with the partner if they already have an integration with Eitje.

  2. If they do not have an integration yet, ask them to contact us for a short appointment so we can determine if an integration is possible. They can do this via support@eitje.app

  3. If an integration is possible or already exists, go to Eitje and in the top right corner click on the menu and then 'Venue settings'.

  4. You are now in the settings where you can see the integration details for the open API at the top. Pass the username and password on to the partner so they can realise the integration.

⚠️ Note: You have to be an admin in all the venues of the organisation to be able to see the integration details.
