How TradeShield protects you as a buyer
Eldorado securely holds your payment until your order is completed, so you're covered from checkout all the way through delivery.
Here's how it works, step by step:
You buy the item - your payment is held securely by Eldorado
The seller delivers your order. Order status: Delivered
You have 3 days to review it and mark it as received. If you don't take action, we mark it as received for you. Order status: Received
Once your order is received, TradeShield keeps protecting it for a set number of days, depending on the product type
When the TradeShield warranty period ends, the order is marked as completed, and the payment is released to the seller.
How long is my order protected after it's marked as received?
TradeShield protection lasts for a set number of days after your order is marked as received. The length depends on the product type:

*If your product type isn't listed above, the order is marked as completed as soon as it's marked as received, with no extra warranty period after that. For such orders, if you notice an issue during the initial 3-day window, raise a dispute. Learn more about the dispute process.
If anything goes wrong during the TradeShield warranty period, we're here to help. When you open a dispute, we freeze the payment until the issue is resolved.
Keep in mind that the Boosting section Custom requests is only for account progression services (leveling up your current account). It mustn't be used to buy accounts, items, or currency. Misuse of this section means buyer protection does not apply to such orders.
