How to Resync All Reservations in Opera Cloud

How to do a mass resync of all your reservations in Opera Cloud

Please Note: This should only be done when all reservations need to be resynced - this is not suitable for resyncing a single reservation.


If reservation data is missing or out of sync, you can manually trigger a resynchronisation in Opera Cloud. Follow the steps below:

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Open the Main Menu

    • In Opera Cloud, click the main menu icon.

    • Select Toolbox.

  2. Navigate to Business Events

    • Go to:
      Utilities → Synchronization → Business Events

  3. Select the External System

    • Under External System, choose HCONNECT

  4. Choose Module to Synchronize

    • Under Modules to Synchronize, select Reservations

  5. Configure the Synchronization

    • In the Reservations row:

      • Set Stay as the type

      • Set the FROM date to today’s date

      • Set the TO date to a future date (e.g. 3 years ahead) to ensure all upcoming reservations are included

  6. Run the Sync

    • Click “Synchronize Business Events” at the bottom of the screen

What Happens Next

  • The system will begin generating the required business events.

  • After a few minutes (or more, depending on the volume of reservations), you should see a confirmation message:
    “Business event triggers successfully generated”

Once this message appears, the resynchronisation is complete.


Notes

  • The sync may take a while to process depending on the volume of reservations.

  • If data still does not appear after syncing, allow additional time for processing or contact your IT team to check integration logs.
