Creating A New Task

When creating a new task in Eleanor, you first want to navigate to "tasks" from the Eleanor dashboard.

Once inside tasks, you want to find the "cog" icon, select this, then the "+" icon, which will create a new task.

Once clicked, a new window will appear that looks like the below,

Here is where you can create the new Task Name (eg. Adaptor Needed)

Then, you can select the Designated Department that this Task will be linked to, from the dropdown list (eg. Housekeeping)

Then, there are some selectable choices.

  • Show this task to guests as well - this will be a guest selectable task and will appear in Eleanor when a guest is requesting something.

  • Notify the guest on task completion - once a task is completed by the staff member, the guest will receive a notification to say this task has been completed.

Toggle these with the tick, if you wish these to apply.

Press the blue tick to confirm all changes.

The new task will now appear in the list.
