A Resource is one of the 3 main categories that make up the structure of the database behind Eleanor.

Resources are often physical things (e.g. Locations, People or equipment) that are required for an activity to happen.

Resources can be attached to multiple activities but cannot usually be used by different activities at the same time.

Examples of typical resources would be a table in a restaurant, a spa therapist or a boat that is used for private excursions.

Bookings made for an activity with a resource attached also allow for private bookings to be facilitated in Eleanor. For example, you might offer a special table in a restaurant which has a capacity for multiple people, but which becomes reserved even if 1 person books it.
