Exceptions are a great tool that allows you to block an activity or resource for a day, part of a day, or multiple days, without having to change the parameters of that activity or resource.

For example, you may wish to block bookings in a restaurant on Christmas Day, when a special dining event will be hosted instead.

To add an exception navigate to the activity or resource you wish to block, find the schedule that you wish to block and then click on the red "+" icon under the “Exceptions” heading. Then choose the dates you wish to block, add an explanatory note which will be visible to your team members if they are trying to make a reservation after the exception has been applied.

Once added the activity will display as being “Not Available” together with the explanatory note you entered. No bookings will be possible for the dates selected in the exception.
