In Iceland, weather conditions can change rapidly and can greatly impact driving conditions. Always keep an eye on the weather and check road conditions before setting out.

Emergency number: 112

Seatbelts are a must: Icelandic law mandates that everyone, regardless of their seating position in the car, must wear a seatbelt. Children under 135 cm are legally required to use the correct car seats for their age (which Beast provides free of charge!).

Remember to adjust your driving to the conditions, keep your headlights on at all times (day & night), don't use your phone while driving, and never drink and drive. Always have a map or GPS and let someone know your travel plans.
