How to Raise an EV Charging Session Dispute?

The article explains how you can raise a dispute about an EV charging session and what evidence you should provide to help resolve it.

If something doesn't look quite right after your EV charging session, we're here to help.

You can raise a dispute if, for example:

  • The session duration looks incorrect.

  • The kWh billed doesn't match what your vehicle received.

  • An unknown charge

  • You received duplicate receipts.

  • The kWh seems higher than expected.

Supporting Evidence

To help us investigate with the charge point operator, please include as much of the following as possible:

  • A brief description of the issue.

  • Your charging receipt or invoice (including the receipt ID).

  • A photo or screenshot from your vehicle dashboard or manufacturer's app showing your battery level or the kWh received, with the date and time of the charging session visible.

  • Charge point details, such as a photo of the charger screen (if available) or the charger/station ID.

The more information you can share, the faster we can raise a conversation with the charge point operator and work towards getting things sorted.
