What is a shared Vault?

Elevault users have the option to share their Vaults with their Connections.

Updated over a week ago

A shared Vault is, well, a Vault you share with someone else! You can share any of your savings or expense Vaults with one of your connections by sending them a request to join it.

Shared Vaults are great for roommates who split the rent, a group of friends planning a vacation together, or a family chipping in on a gift!

You can invite someone to join one of your existing Vaults, or start fresh by creating a new Vault and inviting them to that one.

Who can do what with a shared Vault?

  • The shared Vault's owner (the person who created it) has full permissions to add, edit, and manage all aspects of it.

  • The connections added to the shared Vault (but who do not own it) are only able to deposit money and view activity.
