Judges, Admins or Supervisors in the gym can control cameras directly from their screens, significantly reducing the need for additional volunteers and streamlining the entire recording process.
How to set up remote recording:
Step 1: Pair recording device to the apparatus before the competition starts
You will need your laptop and each recording device. First, log in you Admin panel in Elevien web app and open Recorders tab, there you have to add each device. When you click on the “Add device” button it will ask you for the pairing code.
To find the pairing pin code open Elevien app on the recording phone. Make sure you are logged out of any account, and then on the first screen you will see an option to set it up as a recording device. Tap on it and it will lead you to the code, which you then have to enter in the Admin web app.
Name your devices if you want, enter pairing code, select which apparatus it will record and Save. Simple as that. After you assign judge juries they will be able to control recording devices on their apparatus during judging.
Step 2: Setup in the gym
Place your recording devices on tripods in your gym next to each apparatus
Step 3 - Option 1: Judges control cameras during Judging
Judges will see a "Start recording" option next to "Enter score" on their phones. Any judge can start or stop recording for the apparatus they are judging. With one tap, they can begin recording the gymnast they’re evaluating using the linked device. Judges can now control cameras directly from their screens, significantly reducing the need for additional volunteers and streamlining the entire recording process.
Step 3 - Option 2: Admin or Supervisor controls the recording
As an Admin or Supervisor, open the Results tab in the left navigation, then click the "Edit scores" button (next to the search bar and filters) to enter Edit mode. Find the apparatus you want to record.
If a camera is paired with the apparatus, a green "Play" button will appear next to the gymnast—click it to start recording. Once the recording begins, you’ll see the video status and an icon to stop the recording.
You can check or enter scores while the video is being recorded, just as usual.
