Create your competition

Updated this week

How do I create a new competition?

After logging into the app, go to ‘Create Competition,’ enter the basic competition details (choose the discipline and apparatuses), and follow the guides.

In Elevien, you can set up a gymnastics competition by choosing one or both disciplines, and selecting either a single age group (category) or multiple age groups and levels (programs).

How can I copy a competition?

  1. Select the competition you want to duplicate

  2. Click on "Copy Competition" to create an exact replica with all settings preserved.

Note: Only the administrator who created the competition can perform this action

Important: Participants are not copied, allowing you to start fresh with new entries for each competition.

  3. Import gymnast lists, now with the option to add extra columns like categories or levels for better organization.

How do I add participants to a competition?

There are 3 ways to add participants to a competition:

  1. Open Registrations - send the registration link to participants, so they can register themselves

  2. Add gymnasts one by one

  3. Import the gymnast list from the Excel file - this option is available only in the web app. In the Discipline setup, click on the "Add gymnast" button (in the top right corner) and select the option "Import gymnast list".

You can also click on "Send invite" to gymnasts if registrations are open.
Then copy data from your Excel sheet and paste it in the box area.

Elevien will recognize the data and ask you to identify each column that you want to import.

Do I need any special equipment to organise the competition in Elevien?

No special equipment is required — just your smartphone or PC and an internet connection.

How to Select a Date Range When Creating a Competition?

  1. Start creating your competition:
Begin the setup process as usual - after logging into the app, go to ‘Create Competition

  2. Use the new date picker:
When arriving at the date selection step, choose the date range instead of just a single start date. This allows you to select multiple days for your competition.

  3. Select multiple days:

    • Click on the first day you want to include.

    • Continue selecting additional days as needed for multi-day events.

  4. Adjust daily details later:
The start time is set for the first day only. You can modify daily schedules and times in the Schedule section after setup.

  5. Set the time zone:
A time zone label appears below the start time field, ensuring you know the exact time zone you're working in. The system will automatically adjust times for each user based on their location.

  6. Save your settings:
Complete the remaining steps and save your competition.
