The Settings area lets administrators adjust competition configuration after creation and manage options that aren’t available during the initial setup — including deleting an entire competition if necessary. Access is available only to administrators, and is accessible in both the web app and the mobile app.
General competition settings
Here you can manage the main competition options, including:
Rename the competition
Set or change the date and start time
Upload a cover image
Manage registration (opening, closing, deadlines)
Attach competition documents or directives visible to registering gymnasts
Delete the competition
Copy the competition — creates an exact copy of the structure (disciplines, programs, categories) and settings, but does not copy judges or gymnasts, so the template can be reused for future tournaments
Discipline settings screen
Here you manage all programs and categories within a discipline:
Add programs and categories to define the structure of your competition
Delete programs and categories — only categories with no gymnasts can be deleted (remove gymnasts first if needed). When all categories within a program (level) are deleted, the entire program is automatically removed.
Rename programs and categories
Use the Apply to all tool (web only) to update multiple categories at once: toggle result lists (individual apparatus, all‑around, team), adjust vault settings (number of attempts and final‑score calculation — average, better, or first), and control whether score entry, score editing, and public video visibility are enabled.
You can change the settings at any time before or during the competition but some limitations (like the number of vault attempts) can have some limitations if the scoring already begun and some gymnasts are already scored, so be sure to double check the discipline and category settings before the competition starts.
Category management options
When you create or edit a category from the Settings screen, you can configure:
Apparatus selection – choose which apparatus will be used.
Note: you can’t deselect an apparatus if gymnasts are already assigned to it.Video visibility (by apparatus) – control whether videos are visible.
Sound recording (by apparatus) – enable or disable audio capture.
Vault settings – change the number of vault attempts and define how the final score is calculated when two attempts are used (best, first, or average).
Result list format – choose which lists are shown (individual, all‑around, team).
Team format – configure the X + Y = Z format (X = scores that count, Y = additional team members that don’t count, Z = total team members).
Allow judges to enter scores – if disabled, judges cannot submit scores.
Allow judges to edit scores – if disabled, judges can submit but not edit scores afterward.
Show D‑scores before final score – control D‑score visibility.
Beta features – if Beta features are enabled on your profile (in the web app, click your name in the upper‑right corner, open Profile, and toggle Beta features on — this cannot be enabled from the mobile app), you’ll see extra options in Category settings:
Enable the D‑score calculator for individual apparatuses — available only when judges score in the web app (not on mobile). When an administrator enables the calculator for an apparatus, all judges scoring on the web automatically use the calculator.
