Follow these steps to successfully install and set up our desktop application on your Mac computer!
Download and install:
Go to Elkjøp Clouds download page.
Select 'MacOS' under Elkjøp Cloud for computers.
Move the Elkjøp Cloud icon in to the "Applications" folder, then open the Elkjøp Cloud program from the "Applications" folder.
Follow the installation steps.
Set up:
Click 'Get started' and log in via Elkjøp Clouds webpage.
Open the application and follow the setup steps.
As soon as Elkjøp Cloud has scanned and uploaded all files in the folders you've added, it will have 'Updated' next to it. You can view the progress at the bottom of the window.
Folder selection
During setup, you'll be asked to select folders you want to back up.
We've already selected the most common folders for you by default, so your most important files are protected right away. You only need to add other folders in addition to these if you have a need
Sync-folder location
During the setup you will be asked to place the Sync folder. The Sync folder is a synchronization folder that can be added to your computer and is connected to Elkjøp Cloud on all your devices.
By default, the Sync folder is placed under "Quick access" on your computer, and it is optional to choose another location.
The sync folder is also optional to enable.
