We always recommend that new diets are introduced slowly and carefully to avoid upset tummies. Start by replacing 25% of your dog’s previous diet with freeze-dried raw, and gradually increase the amount of freeze-dried over 7-10 days.

You could also choose to transition by meal a 50/50 split, ie breakfast (previous food) and dinner (new food) over 7-10 days.

Some dogs may take longer to adjust and have a more sensitive digestive system, especially when transitioning to a food with higher protein content. If their poos are runnier than usual, we recommend lengthening the transition period from 7-10 days to 2-3 weeks.
