How do I begin restoring my Elpha Secure data backups?

Read this overview for restoring your backed-up files, then choose your operating system for a step-by-step walkthrough.

Log into your Elpha Secure portal and find your machine on the Device Management page (try using the search bar). Then you'll follow these 5 steps:

  1. Choose your device and click Download Backup.

  2. Request a new backup (or access and download a previous backup).

  3. Download the ZIP file that pops up on your screen.

  4. Decompress and extract ZIP file contents.

  5. Decrypt the files by clicking Restore from Backup and using your backup key.
