If you are unable to load or save presets in Atom it is likely because you're using the Trial version of Atom.

The Trial version of the plugin is one that hasn't been activated yet, and is thus unable to save presets at all:

If you load a session in your DAW that uses the trial version the presets will be only init saw waves.

To unlock the full version of Atom you'll need to purchase the product and register it.
