Prerequisites
1. You have Zoom Rooms hardware and Zoom Rooms 'Rooms' license(s)
2. You have an active embed signage RoomStream License with available connections on your account. If you do not, please speak with your supplier.
In Zoom Rooms, you can run a RoomStream URL for signage when not in use for meetings, on a room-by-room basis or for all devices at an Account level.
The deployment process is the same, however the only difference being where you apply the settings (Account vs Room Settings).
Enable Digital Signage on Zoom Rooms (via Account Settings)
First, navigate to:
'Room Management' > 'Zoom Rooms'
Select 'Account Settings'
Select the 'Digital Signage' tab
Scroll down to 'Enable' and toggle 'On'
To enable Digital Signage at the Room level, rather than Account Settings, simply go into Room Management and select a specific Room. Then follow the same 'toggle on' steps outlined.
Add RoomStream to Zoom Rooms (via Account Settings)
Navigate to 'Room Management' > 'Zoom Rooms'
Select the 'Digital Signage' tab
Under 'Default Content List' click '+Add Content'
Select 'URL' from the content options list
Paste the RoomStream URL
Click 'Add URL'
With the URL added, ensure it is selected, then click 'Add Items'
Adjust any settings you may like, then click 'Save' to apply the update
