2. Once at Project Settings, select the appropriate survey programming option.
Once you've reached the Project Settings section of your project's setup you have two survey programming options. If you would like to use an alternative survey platform using Emporia's respondent audience, select "No - I want to integrate with an external survey solution."
3. If you're redirect link is ready to go, provide your survey URL link with {EMPORIA_ID} for the respondent ID
Make sure to click "Test Integration" to make sure the redirect link is working.
4. If you are crafting a redirect link, just provide your base survey URL link
Only add your base survey URL - Do NOT include any query parameters here. There should NOT be a question mark ("?") in this link.
Learn about query parameters definition here.
5. Under Custom Variable Name, provide the variable name that you expect us to inject our unique respondent identifier into.
Click to learn more about how to do this on platforms like Qualtrics, Alchemer and QuestionPro.
6. Optionally: Add additional static variables (Query Parameters)
These are variables that remain constant for each survey link sent out (for instance a project identifier).
7. Type the variable name and value separately
For instance, if you would like "projectId=1234" appended as a query parameter, you would enter "projectId" in the box "Static Variable Name 1" and "1234" in the box "Static Variable Value 1". Make sure to click "Test Integration" when you are ready to test it out.
