Step 1: Select the 'Interview' Study Type

Begin by selecting the 'Interview' study type when creating your project on the platform.


Step 2: Complete the 'Project Details' Section

  1. Internal Project Name: Enter a unique name for internal use.

  2. Public Display Name: This will be used in the subject line of the study invitation.

  3. Project Description: Write a description for the main body of the invitation. You can use the 'Rewrite with AI' feature for optimization.

  4. Target Survey Completes: Specify the number of survey completions you aim to achieve.

  5. Estimated Survey Length: Enter the expected duration of the survey in minutes.


Step 3: Define Audience Criteria

  1. Fill in the Audience Criteria section, which is crucial for our feasibility assessment.

  2. Include any relevant information about your project.


Step 4: Generate and Inspect Your 'Audience Preview'

  1. Click 'Preview Audience' to preview potential participants.

  2. Review and fine-tune your Audience Criteria to ensure the sample audience aligns with your desired demographic.

  3. Use the estimated audience size in the 'Audience Preview' section to check if your audience is too narrow or too broad.


Step 5: Fill Out the 'Project Settings' section

  1. Screener: Choose whether you'd like to require a screener or not

  2. Personal Identifiable Information (PII): Specify if your screener will collect PII from respondents

  3. Add-on Transcription Services: Choose whether you'd like to purchase transcription services with your study

  4. Device Types: Specify which devices will be allowed for the study

  5. Incidence Rate (IR): Provide an estimate of the eligible participants within your audience criteria

  6. Auto Pause Project: Decide if recruitment should pause once the target completions are reached

  7. Anticipated Interviewing Dates: Include a date range for when you expect to conduct the interviews

  8. Interview Location Type: Choose whether you'd like to hold the interviews via online video, phone call, or in-person


Step 6: Save Draft and Request Feasibility

  1. Click ‘Save As Draft’ to save your project in the 'Draft' section.

  2. Select 'Request Feasibility' in the 'Project Details' section to notify our team.

  3. Expect a feasibility score and project cost estimate within two hours during business hours (9 am to 5 pm EST, Monday to Friday). You should receive an email alerting you to the update.


Step 7: Final Review and Kick-off

  1. Review all Project Details thoroughly

  2. Click 'Kick-off Project' to activate your project
