To ensure compliance with tax regulations, we have implemented a system that tracks your earnings in relation to tax form submission. Below are important details to help guide you through the process and also steps on how to submit your form!
Once you reach 100% of the threshold, your earnings will be paused until you submit and acknowledge the required tax form. Please note that while we will continue to approve your entries during this period, you will not be able to earn additional money until the form is submitted.
Step 1 - Threshold Reached
Once the threshold is reached, the cash reward will appear "greyed out" to indicate that you need to submit the tax form to the brand. This status will remain until the form is received, which will then allow you to resume earning.

Step 2 - Resend Form
As mentioned in the first section, an email is sent when you reach 90% of the threshold. If you have not yet sent the form, we highly recommend doing so promptly.
To resend the form, select the exclamation point icon and click on the "Resend Form" button.
Step 3 - Complete the Form
To complete the form, download it from the email by selecting the "Download" option. Once downloaded, fill it out with the required information.
Step 4 - Submitting the Form
Once the form is completed, it must be submitted to the brand for acknowledgment. There are two methods available for sharing the form, although the brand may only offer one of these options depending on their preference.
Drive URL : This allows you to upload your form on a secure website. The turnaround time is quite fast, as the document becomes available to the brand as soon as it is shared online. This method ensures a quicker processing time.
Mailing Address : This method requires you to send the form by mail to the address provided in the email. Please note that this method will have a longer turnaround time, and you will be responsible for covering the mailing costs.
Step 5 - Wait for Acknowledgment
We recommend that brands review the tax form for acknowledgment on a weekly basis, though this is not mandatory, but strongly recommend. If you have been waiting for more than 5 business days (for online uploads) or 10 business days (for mailed forms), please consider marking your form as "Sent."
Step 6 - Mark as Sent
Marking your form as sent will notify the brand, reminding them that the form needs to be acknowledged.
Last Step - Wait for your T4A (Canada) / 1099 (US)
Please be aware that the brand will send a T4A for Canadian users or a 1099 for U.S. users at the beginning of the new year. This document will be mailed to the address you provided in the form.
