Brands - How to request, follow & unfollow

Find out how to follow a brand, what it means to unfollow a brand & how long a request takes.

Requesting to Follow a Brand

To request to follow a brand please follow these steps:

Step 1: Click on the satellite icon (Brands) on the bottom of the screen.

Step 2: Add new brands!

Now you're on the Brands page! On this page, you can see a list of all of the brands that you are currently connected to (i.e. following).

To add more brands to this list, click on the "+ New Brand" button on the bottom of the page.

Step 3: Follow a brand!

Use search bar at the top of the screen to easily search for any brands you have in store, and click on 'FOLLOW' to send a request.

Please be aware that accepting this request is always up to the brand,

so we recommend to get in touch with your local rep (after sending the request),

and let them know about your interest.

Step 4: You'll know you've done this step successfully, when the screen below appears.

How to See Which Brands You've Requested to Follow

Step 1: Go the 'Brand page' and select '+new Brand'

A dark blue field will appear at the top of your screen, where you can access all the brands that have been requested.

How Long Brand Follow Requests Take to be Approved

Once a brand appears in your 'Brands Requested' list, this means the request has been sent to the brand for approval. All brands have complete control over who is connected to them. Since it is up to each brand what stores they allow to follow them in ENDVR, this means that the time it takes to be approved varies by brand. Typically, brands approve requests fairly quickly, but sometimes it may take a bit more time! If you notice that a brand isn't accepting your request, please reach out to your local brand rep for assistance. If your request has been pending for over a week and you have already contacted your brand rep, then please reach out to us via Intercom chat or support@endvr.io and we will contact them directly to help get your store connected.

Once you're connected you should see all of the missions available to your store. Please note however, that each mission launch is targeted by store as well, so your store may not be in the current targeting. If you have any questions in this regard, please reach out to your local rep on access to available missions.

What Does it Mean to "Unfollow" a Brand?

Great question! In your app, after your store is connected to a brand you will notice that the brand now has an "Unfollow" button next to it:

If you no longer want to see missions from a particular brand you can click this unfollow button, and you will personally be unfollowed from that brand.

Please note: This is a PERSONAL unfollow, so all other users in your store will still see and be able to access that brand's missions.
