How to delete a Lead and User

Reasons a lead might be deleted:

  1. The company does not have the "Block Duplicate address" settings ON and the user created a duplicate lead by accident.

  1. A user who works for multiple companies has different accounts and created a lead in the wrong account.

  2. The user created a lead and the street address did not save correctly so the user created another lead, hoping the street address in the new lead would save correctly. This often happens because users forget to check the "Ignore Google Maps Address Correction" box so the address defaults to what is on Google Maps.

  3. The company admin imported a bulk of leads from a CRM and for some reason leads were uploaded and duplicated in Enerflo.

  4. A lead that gets populated from a call center or CRM is creating a default deal type that it is no longer available.

If the sales rep has access here is how to delete the lead in Enerflo:

As a sales rep:

  1. From the sales rep dashboard, click "Go to Leads"/span>

  2. Search the customer's name, scroll to the far right of the table, and click on the red trash can./span>

If the rep can not do this on their own they will need to reach out to a company admin! Enerflo Technical Support can NOT delete leads.

As a company admin

  1. From the main page, click "leads"

/span>

  1. Search the customer's name, scroll to the far right of the table, and click the trash can to delete it.

  2. /span>

How to Delete a User

Super admin or Company admin wants to delete a user and wants to know how to reassign all the deals under the user.

(note: Enerflo support does not delete users, but an admin with super admin permissions can do this)

  1. Search user by their name : /span>

Select the trash can, Then this screen will appear. The admin will be able to reassign all deals to the next sales rep.

/span>

If this step was missed, they will have to manually re-assign the deals one by one.

NOTES: If a lead has a design, the lead cannot be deleted unless the deal is deleted as well. Keep in mind that when a user deletes a deal, creates a new one and submits a design request, they will be charged twice so this is not often recommended unless there's no other option.

If the lead has an active install, the install will need to be canceled and deal will need to be deleted before deleting the lead. Some companies charge cancellation fees depending on what milestone the project is in, so again this is not recommended unless the situation requires it.
