V2 allows for more flexibility with what is classified as a system or value adder.

"System" Adders
โ€‹
The pricing model output will categorize a "system" adder as something that has been flagged to "NOT be visible to the customer". It can be set to be auto-added, or allowed to be manually added, and still will not be visible to the customer.

Some common adders that use design data driven and traditionally categorized as system adders are:

  • System Size

  • Mounting Type

  • Mounting Materials

For deal questions:

  • Reroof

  • Tree Trimming

  • Permits

"Value" Adders

The pricing model output will categorize a "value" adder as something that has been flagged as "visible to the customer". It can be set to be auto-added, or allowed to be manually added, but will be shown to the customer.

In short, system adders are not visible to the customer, and value adders are.
