Solo Error "User_Email" Must be a Valid Email

When the Solo Deal Type throws the error, "There was an error when talking to Solo: Validation errors: "user_email" must be a valid email" Seen below: /span>

This error is not referring to the customer email it is referring to the reps email. Here is how to troubleshoot:

  1. Go into the reps settings: Three bars top right hand corner>Reps Name> Edit My Profile

  2. Then scroll to the External Tools:Integration Settings /span>

  3. Clarify which email the rep is trying to use to log into Solo. If the email that has been integrated to Solo is not the correct email then please have the rep add the correct email to the "Solo Login.." text box and press "save settings"./span>

  4. If the email is correct but the rep has added a password to the "Solo Login..." text box make sure to delete the password. This should only be filled in with an email address. Once this is fixed design requests can be filled out and submitted again without the populating Solo "user_email" error. /span>

If the following error populates check to make sure that the customer's email is correct/added because Solo will not work in V2 without that being there and correct.

As seen in the image below the email was not typed in correctly and so once .com was added to the lead information page for the Primary Email the design was able to be submitted in V2 and the error is gone.
