When a deal needs to be transferred from one rep to another, reassign the lead in V1. Reassigning the lead in V1 will not auto-reassign the deal in V2 though.

Pull up the deal in V2.

In the picture above versus below there are two different reps shown as the owner of the lead, which would cause the user shown as the rep in V1 to still be unable to edit or view the deal in V2.

Next to the lead name, click the 3 black dots and then select "Deal Details"

Under deal details, click the sales reps name and a drop down list will pull up and the correct sales rep can be selected.
