This card provides an overview of the process to establish a primary and default installer using the install picker question for surveys and deals in v1. The following sections will be addressed:

This is used to ensure that a specific installer is given top priority and appears at the very beginning of the drop-down list. Note: This affects ALL deals used by the partner

Here is a preview of the changes to the drop-down on the survey page. Stallings Solar has been moved to the top of the list as the primary installer

This is utilized to designate an installer in the picker prior to any alterations being applied to the survey question

Note: This ONLY affects the deal type being edited

Navigate to the Deal Type Builder for the deal type in question. Scroll down to the Section where the installer question is -> Click the “Settings” (gear icon) -> Put the Company ID for the installer you’d like to default in the “Default Value” text box.
