Reps unable to add notes in the agreement

Some companies are setup to allow reps to add notes in the agreement. There are two ways in which reps can add notes in the agreement. They can either do it at the bottom of the design request page (screenshot 1) or in the "edit signer info" section in the agreement (screenshot 2).

Note: The design request page might be named differently depending on the company.

( RSRV is one of the companies that allows their reps to add notes in the agreement, specifically in "edit signer info" section. )

POSSIBLE ISSUES WHEN TRYING TO ADD NOTES IN THE AGREEMENT

However, if a rep comes into chat and says he/she is unable to add notes in the agreement, you can ask the rep where he/she is trying to add the notes. If the rep is trying to add the notes in the design request page and the notes are saving but not showing on the agreement, it's probably because the company is setup to only allow reps to add notes in the "edit signer info" section, so you can suggest the rep adding the notes there. Same if they add the notes in the "edit signer info" section and the notes don't show in the agreement. The company might be setup to only allow reps in the design request page. You can have the rep add the notes in both sections and see in which one it works.

If the rep is trying to add these notes in "edit signer info" section after the customer has already been approved for financing, they might see the screen below. If this is the case, follow the steps below to troubleshoot this.

TROUBLESHOOTING

  1. Cloak in as the EPC > EPC settings.

  2. Scroll down till you find the " Contracts: Forcer customer data to match loan app" setting and click on "No". Then, save the changes.

3- Have the rep add the notes in the "edit signer info" section quickly or add them for the rep if you have them. Save the changes and verify the notes are showing in the agreement.

4- Go back to the EPC settings and click the setting back to "Yes" and save the changes.

Note: There's a ticket for devOps to allow reps to add notes in the agreement with this setting on.
