Change Order Feature Overview

The Change Order feature allows a partner to make an update to a signed install agreement. For example, if the system size needs to be changed or a storage system needs to be added.

The feature was launched in mid-May 2021, so existing LIVE partners can request to add the feature through their PSM. Hopefully, in the future, the partner can make requests directly through Enerflo. How to request for the Change Order Feature

Here is an example Change Order form:Enerflo Demo - Change Order Form (1).docx If provided to the partner, you must fully explain that this needs to be a legally binding document should they decide to leverage it.

Onboarding partners can include their change order forms as part of data/doc collection during the onboarding process

Details of how to enable the Change Order feature are here: Enabling Change Order Feature (incl. NEM signer updates)

An internal training video can be found here.

FAQs can be found here: Change Order Feature FAQs

Here is a high-level overview of what the Change Order feature allows a partner to do:

From the Install Tracker, a partner can select the deal that needs to be modified. There is a Change Order button under Quick Links

/span>

From there, a Change Order form appears. The Enerflo Training displays the standard items that we have available for updates. Note that partner requests that require additional fields will take longer to complete.

/span>

Once all changes are complete, click Save and the annotated Change Order Form will come up for the customer to sign. If any changes need to be made, simply hit the Edit Change Order button.

/span>

To view all your Change Orders, go to EPC --> Change Orders

/span>

From there, you can see Pending Change Orders that have yet to be signed. Complete means the agreement has been signed. At any time, the change order can be voided if it is no longer needed.

Some other quick navigation tips, in the Change Order Form view, the Actions menu in the top right corner allows you to view the Change Order Agreement, View the Install, or if the form had been saved, Void the form altogether.

/span>

Partners that have the Utility Doc feature enabled will be able to update the NEM signer. There will be a checkbox available to update the signer.

/span>

When the agreements are created, there will be an opportunity for the new NEM signer to re-sign the utility docs.

Additional Features - 2nd Quarter of 2023

/span>

  • Homeowner Address Support

    • Homeowner Address can be changed from the change order screen, same as on the customer edit page

/span>

  • Sales Rep Control over System Cost on Adder level

    • Ignore the Cost button on adders and the battery doesn't charge the customer for that adder

    • Dealer Fees will be automatically applied to adders unless the Ignore Cost option is chosen

/span>

  • Dynamic Pricing Updates

    • Previously you were allowed to enter arbitrary numbers for system size/system cost. Now everything is driven by the actual math behind the pricing. Users can change the starting PPW and the Panel/Panel count to update system size and system costs. You'll be able to see the impact of your changes to the costs live in the preview section, without saving the change order.

/span>

  • Messaging on Signer Progress when Secondary Signer is pending

    • Updates text on docflo view to indicate signer status

  • Increased Accessibility to Change orders via Customer Portal

    • We now link change orders in the customer portal

/span>

Pricing Overrides

Only admins, company admins, and ops can override values using the override pricing option, but all calculations are left to the user. Additionally the button is disabled when there's a pending, sent, complete, or voided change order
