Sometimes, Contracted Solar Design will tell chat support that they get the error below when trying to view a design request from a customer.

/span>

This error happens when a design request from another design team (SOLO, HelioQuote, etc) goes into the Contracted Solar Design, design queue on accident because the company settings are not correct. You can easily tell if the design request is for SOLO, HelioQuote or another design team by looking at the deal type in the customer's information page. If it's not for Contracted Solar Design we need to remove this request from their queue and make sure that the settings are setup correctly.

To troubleshoot this:

  • Cloak into the EPC or the company's EPC and go to "Solar designs" and click "All"

/span>

  • Search the name of the customer and look for the SOLO, HelioQuote, etc deal type and click on the red trash can to delete it. Then, click on "Yes! Confirm Deletion. (The screenshot below is just an example of where to check. This design request is meant to go to SPS. )

  • Go to to EPC > Sales team list > search the name of the sales org or the EPC (in case the EPC is both, the sales org and the installer) and go to "settings"

/span>

  • Go to the design queue settings and make sure that there is not any SOLO or HelioQuote deal type checked. If there are any (as in the screenshot below) uncheck them and click on "saves changes"

/span>

  • The last step is to go back to Contracted Solar Design, design queue and check that the design request is no longer showing in their queue.

Note: Thanks to Rebecca Iongi for walking me through the steps on how to remove a design request from Contracted Solar Design, design queue!
