If you are trying to create a lead and getting an error that says Validation Error, Status Code "400, message: "email" is not allowed to be empty, go to the lead page and make sure the lead has both a phone number and email on it.

If the lead information is filled in and the error is still populating, an admin can check the user's settings to see if the rep has access to create new leads: Home > Manage Users. Click Edit, and then check to see if the box for "Can create leads" setting is checked.
