"We can't find what you are looking for Deal sync error: DealTemplateVersion not found" error

There are two reasons you will get the error "We can't find what you are looking for Deal sync error: DealTemplateVersion not found" when creating a deal.

Both situations will need to be checked by a user with admin permissions.

  1. Check that the sales org has the deal template enabled. Click Settings>Installer>Authorized Dealers and then click on the sales org that is getting the error. Scroll to the deal template settings and make sure they have the appropriate deal template(s) enabled.

    1. Deal templates also need to be enabled in V1 sales org settings. Click My Roles > EPC > Sales Organizations and then click "Settings" on the sales org that is getting the error. Under the heading "Select deal type(s) sales team can access:", enable the appropariate deal types and click save. aa

  1. If the installer has verified the correct deal templates are enabled, check that the address is within the installer market. Check this by clicking Settings>Installer>Installer Markets
