Calculating dealers on a deal with no adders

To calculate a dealer fee, take the base system cost and divide it by the 100 minus the dealer fee percentage.

Base System Cost/(100 - dealer fee %) = X then X - base system cost = dealer fee amount

$21,330/.7721 = $27,625.96 then $27,625.96 - $21,330.00 = $6,295.96

** .7721 = (100 - 22.79)

Calculating the dealer fees on a deal with adders

Example: The customer added a $22k battery to their system and asked why the total cost was showing as $32,467.53. It's because the dealer fee for that lending option is 32.24%.

Calculation for the dealer fees on this adder would be: adder cost / (100 - dealer fee %) = X , and then

X - adder cost = dealer fee amount

22,000 / .6776 = $32,467.53

$32,467.53 - 22,000 = 10,467.53

(.6776 came from taking 100 - dealer fee %)
