Deal types are set up by the installer. When the installer adds a sales org, they choose which deal type(s) they want each org to have access to.
A user with admin permissions can view available deal types for a specific sales org. Click My Roles > EPC > Sales Organizations.
Click "settings" on the sales org. Enabled deal types will be checked.
Deal types need to be enabled in both V1 and V2. To make sure they are enabled in V2, Click settings > Installer > Authorized dealers. Click on the name of the sales org and scroll down to the deal templates section.
Click to toggle specific deal templates or click the checkbox at the top that states "Allow All Templates" to give the sales org access to all installer templates.
If deal types are not enabled in both V1 and V2, the reps will get an error when trying to create a deal.
