The Title Check plugin lets reps verify property ownership by running an automatic check. Reps confirm that at least one property owner matches the customer applying for financing and can view the title report if more information is needed.
Geographic availability: Title Check is not available for project addresses in Puerto Rico. If the deal address is in Puerto Rico, the Title Check stage will display a notice and the check cannot be run.
If your sales org wants to allow users to download the title results PDF while using an installer's title check, you'll need to add the plugin to the sales org and set the "Allow All Users to Access Title Check Files" Setting to Yes.
In order for a sales rep to run a title check, the title check plugin and stage will need to be added to the deal template.
After running the check, a list of available homeowners will appear for selection.
Clicking a name will automatically update the lead and deal details to match for financing and agreement signing
By default, the downloadable PDF is available only to admins. It becomes accessible to all users if the setting is enabled
When a Title Check is successfully completed, the county field on the deal's project address will be automatically populated.
Properties Held in Trust
When a title check is run and the property appears to be held by a trust, Enerflo will prompt the rep to identify who the trustee is. The rep selects whether the trustee is the primary contact, secondary contact, or someone else. The selected person is assigned the Trustee contact type on the deal.
The Trustee contact type is available globally — any deal template with Title Check can use it.
