How to Enable Round Robin Assignments for Appointments

This set-up can be done by a user with Super Admin access.

Click My Roles > Company Settings > Settings. Locate the setting that is labeled "Set default lead owner?" and make sure it is set to "Select Option"

Click down to the Appointment Types tab under company settings and then click +Add New in the top right corner:

Scroll down until you see the "Auto scheduling rule" and select "Round Robin".

Be sure to click "Save Settings".

This setting will affect all leads created after the change is made. Once an appointment is set on the lead, the round robin assignment will work.

This setting can be used in conjunction with lead gen software to use power ranking or round robin to auto-assign the sales rep when the lead and appointment are created.

No preference is given to the rep’s ability or history of closing deals when taking into account who to assign the appointment to.

When triaging appointments using Power Ranking, the appointment is assigned based on the ranking of their sales reps. Ranking criteria may take into account any number of factors which may include seniority, closing rate, revenue generated, availability, etc. Each rep’s rank aligns them in a hierarchy to receive leads. The higher the rep is in the hierarchy, the more leads they are likely to get.
