Any user with org admin permissions is able to view and edit enabled rebates.
Click Settings > Pricing > Rebates.
Click +New to create a new rebate, or click the name of an existing rebate to edit. Rebates can be set to always active or be set to activate on system size, number of arrays, project state, or have a custom activation model.
Set the rebate type (Federal ITC, Ilinois Shines SREC, Percentage, Price Per Watt, SREC, or custom) and add the amount.
Choose if the rebate should deduct against the net or gross cost, and whether or not it should reduce the federal rebate or apply to the finance pay down.
Rebates can be targeted by Adders, Authorized Dealers, Cities, Deal Templates, Equipment, Finance Methods, Installer Markers, Sales Teams, Utilities, and Zip codes.
For example, to target a rebate to a single or a few utilities, scroll to the targeting section and click the arrow next to Utilities to open up the options. Unclick the "All Utilities" box, which will change the first column from "Exclude" to "Include". Search the desired utilities and switch the toggle to on to include it. Click Save Changes on the bottom right.
Rebate Still Displayed After Targeting Changes
If a rebate still appears on a deal despite targeting changes:
Ensure targeting configuration is correct.
Refresh the affected deal’s pricing by clicking Update Pricing.
This step pulls the latest rebate eligibility based on the utility targeting changes.
