How to Inactivate or Remove a Sales Organization

How to inactivate or permanently remove a sales organization in Enerflo, including the difference between disabling users, deactivating the org, and hard deletion — and what data is lost when an org is deleted.

There are two ways to wind down a sales organization in Enerflo depending on whether you want to preserve historical data or remove the org entirely. Read both options carefully before proceeding — deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Option 1: Inactivating a Sales Organization

Inactivating a sales org prevents its users from logging in while preserving all leads, deals, and customer data. This is the recommended approach in most cases.

To inactivate a sales org without losing data, deactivate its users individually:

  1. Navigate to Your Roles > EPC > Sales Organizations and click Roster next to the sales org you want to inactivate.

  2. Click into a user, scroll to Admin Settings, and check the box next to Inactive.

  3. Click the blue Update Profile button to save.

  4. Repeat for each user in the sales org.

Inactive users can no longer log in but all of their leads, deals, and install history remain intact and accessible to EPC admins.

Alternatively, you can disable the org in V2 without touching individual users. Navigate to Settings > Installer > Authorized Dealers, find the org, and toggle off the Enabled switch in the table. This removes their access to deal templates while keeping the org and its data on file. The org can be re-enabled at any time.

Option 2: Permanently Removing a Sales Organization

⚠️ Warning: Permanently removing a sales organization deletes all associated leads, deals, and customer data. This action cannot be reversed and deleted data cannot be recovered. Only proceed if you are certain this data is no longer needed.

Removal must be completed in two places - V1 and V2 - as the org can exist in both.

Step 1 - Remove from V1 (Sales Organizations):

  1. Navigate to Your Roles > EPC > Sales Organizations.

  2. Click the red trash can icon next to the org you want to remove.

Step 2 - Remove from V2 (Authorized Dealers):

  1. Navigate to Settings > Installer > Authorized Dealers.

  2. Click the three dots (···) under Actions next to the org's name.

  3. Select Remove.

You must complete both steps — removing the org from V1 alone does not remove it from V2, and vice versa.

Super Admin permissions are required to delete a sales organization. If you are unsure which option is right for your situation, contact Enerflo Support before proceeding.
