EngineerBabu is headquartered in Indore, but our Remote team spread out across 15 cities around the India.

We run the gamut in geography, lifestyle and interest, but we’re united by a common set of values and goals: have fun, do exceptional work, build the best product in the business, experiment, pay attention to the details, treat people right, tell the truth, have a positive impact on the world around us, give back, and keep learning.

What we do
At EngineerBabu, we build great products. People came to us with Crazy ideas - and Now those are million dollar companies. Two startups even Selected by YC 2017- 2018 Batch, Funded by Top VCs.

Everyone who works at EngineerBabu interacts with our customers on a regular basis. That’s why we’re especially careful about who we hire. We work hard to make sure every employee is given the freedom, tools, trust, and support to do the best work of their careers. The downside of being an intentionally small business where people tend to stick around for a long time? Openings are a bit of a rarity. ! It’s happening now

What we don't want
We resist normal employee model and relationship. We wanted team members not employees, I mean it. We want givers in our organisation not takers. Takers leave our group really fast because they don't fit in. 

What we’re not looking for are ideological clones or people who are otherwise just like us. In fact, we took a look in the mirror recently and weren’t satisfied with how many similar faces we saw looking back.

Hiring Process
We landed on this process after a decade of refinement. Just like we’re always iterating on our product work, we’re also always iterating on how our company works. We consider our company a product too. When you begin to think of your company like a product, you can begin to improve it in entirely new ways. I feel like we’re on version 3.2 of “how we work”.

We don't offer things like Football tables, catered meals in the office, and other “perks” designed to keep you at work for all of your waking hours. We want you to put in 8 quality hours then go live your life, rest, and recharge so you can come back fresh to do it again.

Why you should work in Startup :

It is, no doubt, a great opportunity to be placed in a reputed corporate job, but what no one tells you about corporate jobs is that they are uncomfortably quiet and have a restrictive scope of work. Moreover, if you a clumsy night owl, showing up at work at 9 AM in shiny formals is next to impossible. So if any of these problems bother you as well, maybe you should consider working for a startup. Here are a few reasons why you must work in a startup at least once in your life:

1. Great Responsibility, Greater Opportunities

With great power comes great responsibility, and with great responsibility comes great opportunities. As there are lesser people in a startup, there are greater responsibilities on each one of them, and while you might have to work really hard, the result will totally be worth it.

2. No Office Politics

One of the biggest problems in the corporate world is the office politics. It is a waste of time and energy; not to forget various instances when the credit is taken away from those who deserve it. However, you’ll encounter no such problem in a startup, for everyone knows each other’s work.

3. Wider Spectrum Of Work

Again, since there are lesser people, there are no specific departments of work. Anybody could be doing any job. There is a large variety of things that go into building an enterprise, and you could be a part of any of those and learn a lot more than you would in a corporate job.

4. Learn Resource Management

Since there is so much work to be done, chances are that you wouldn’t have enough funds to be extravagant with your resources. There is a possibility that an employee would end up washing the dishes and there wouldn’t be a proper place to have your lunch in, but this frugality will teach you to adjust and build stronger bonds with your colleagues.

Speaking of colleagues, one of the many good things about being in a startup is that you tend to build a very strong bond with your colleagues. While co-workers at a corporate job tend to be competitive and self-centered, people at a startup spend more time together and because they are less in number, form closer bonds.

6. Faster Growth

Startups might not pay you well initially, but there is a lot of scope for growth. There is obviously a risk involved regarding whether the startup will work well or not, but that can be overcome by sheer hard work. Once your startup begins to do well, sky is the limit.
