Agencies, med comms, and other publishers constitute a significant percentage of publisher reprint/eprint sales. These intermediaries manage customers of their own who are responsible for disseminating purchased content to HCPs.

Because of this dynamic, Engraffo has developed an Intermediary designation that allows these reselling customers to invite their own customers to specific projects.

Intermediary Status Distinction

Both the Intermediary and their life sciences customer will have the exact same level of permissions, as designated by the publisher. Just like any other customer, and Intermediary customer can add members to their team. The only distinction is that the Intermediary will be able to invite their own customer to their specific project, in much the same way that publishers can invite their paying customers to a project.

This view highlights the only distinction with the Intermediary account, displaying both Customer and Vendor visibility:

Note: Publishers will not have visibility of their Intermediary's customer.

How to Request Intermediary Status for your Reseller Customer

This function is currently managed manually. Please contact Engraffo Staff to request Intermediary status for your reseller customer.

Once a team has Intermediary status, they will retain that status forever - so no need to request that status for subsequent orders.
