Renewing or extending your Engraffo Project is now very simple. Once a Project reaches 'Expiring' status - which is achieved when there is less than 20% of the Project's term or purchased views remaining - a button will be presented on your Project Page allowing you to extend/renew the Project. This option will remain available even after a Project has fully expired (after the full one-year term is over).

Remember: we use the term "expire" to denote any Engraffo Project which has either completed it's full term (one-year) or has consumed all of it's purchased views. However, it is important to note that every Engraffo Project purchased is actionable for one full year. So even if the views are fully consumed and the Project is inaccessible to your customer, you can actually add (or sell) more views to complete the full, one-year term. For example: a Project is sold for one year and 500 views. After 9 months, all views have been consumed and the customer can no longer access the Project. The publisher has the option of extending this Project for another full year (which will incur a new Engraffo Project fee), or they can add/sell additional views for the remaining 3 months without incurring any additional Project fees from Engraffo. Please contact us if you need further clarification.

From the Project page of your Expiring or Expired Project, simply find the Current Status box and click on the button entitled 'Extend/renew the Project'. This will prompt a modal (pop-up) to appear, where you will be presented with two options:

  • Extend project when it expires:

    • This will automatically add a full, one year term to your project upon term expiration (or immediately if already expired). This option is suggested if the project is unlikely to consume it's remaining views within the allotted one year term.

  • Extend project for a year from today:

    • This will add a full, one year term from today. We will credit you for any time remaining on your project's current term. For example, if this action is requested at exactly 6 months into the Project, your Project extension fee will be 50% of the normal Project fee. This option is useful if the project views are being consumed quickly and will likely be exhausted before the end of the allotted one year term.

You can also add Additional Views at this point, which will increase the number of available views for your customer.

By default, all remaining views from a Project will roll over into an extended or renewed Project. For example, if there are 200 remaining views (out of 500 originally purchased) at the time of extension, and you have sold an additional 100 views to your customer as part of their renewal, the total view count for the extended Project will become 600 views, whereby 300 remain available. Of course, you (as the publisher) can always change the view limit from the Manage Project area if you want to exercise additional control over the number of available views.

Click Save. This will prompt a confirmation pop-up, since this action will trigger a billable event. If you have confirmed a scheduled Project extension and subsequently need to cancel, please contact Engraffo staff for assistance.

Once your extension has been confirmed, your Project page will show 'Scheduled for Renewal' in the Current Status box for scheduled extensions. If you chose to extend the Project immediately, your Project will be 'Live' and your new term will have begun.
