Traceability is a new class of energy technology and Enosi is at the forefront of its development.

Basically it uses the huge volumes of smart metering data now being generated to uniquely match electricity produced with electricity consumed. It will replace carbon credits, offsets, green certificates and other “greenwashing” approaches that have been used in the past to claim a clean “provenance”.

Importantly, true traceability means the energy is only matched in the same time interval. Nobody believes they are buying solar power in the middle of the night!
