Instructors can text Primary or Secondary Account Holders (or both) and receive texts from them. Instructors can also group text Account Holders and send other types of messages, such as timeline posts or other activities, with a message that the whole Class can see. See this support article for more information.

Sending Group Texts

On the Classes page, click on the down arrow beside a Class. Select the Enrollees by checking the checkboxes on the left, or select all at the top. A SMS icon will then appear on the right side. Click the SMS button to send a group text.

Next, choose whether you want to send the group text to just the Primary Account Holder or to both Account Holders.

A window will open on the side showing the recipients.

NOTE: Group SMS texts are limited to 160 characters. If you go over 160 characters, Enrollsy will warn you that you are sending multiple billable message segments per recipient, and you have to approve that.

Sending Individual Texts

On either the Activities page or the Check In/Out page, under the Class is the list of Enrollees. Click the bubble to text the Primary Account Holder, Secondary Account Holder, or both:

The following screen will display all text messages sent to that particular Account Holder.

NOTE: Account Holders receive Enrollsy text messages as actual text in whatever Messages app they use (not in the Enrollsy App itself).

Viewing Texts

When a new text message comes in, it will appear on the Activities page or Check In/Out page in the Instructor portal as a red dot. Click on the SMS icon to open up the texting window.
