Entertainment-Only: NCAAB Squares - Grid Settings: Customizing Your Grid

The Grid Settings section allows you to fully customize how your grid is set up, displayed, and managed. These settings help you control everything from grid size to how numbers are assigned.


Grid Title

Set or update the name of your grid so members can easily identify your contest.


Grid Begins In

Choose when your grid will start.

  • Example: First Round (63 games)

  • Note: Play-in games are not included


Number of Squares on Grid

Select how many total squares your grid will have.

  • Common option: 100 squares (10x10 grid)


Axis Numbers on the Grid Are

Determine how numbers are assigned to the grid:

  • Randomly assigned (most common and recommended)


Axis Labels

Control how teams are displayed on the grid axes:

  • Example: Winner on top axis, loser on side axis


Maximum Number of Squares Allowed Per Member

Limit how many squares each participant can select:

  • Unlimited or set a specific cap


Track Fundraising Donations

Enable or disable donation tracking within your grid.

  • Default: No tracking


Number Each Pickable Square on the Grid (1–100)

Toggle this setting ON to display numbers on each square (helpful for organization and tracking).


Show Axis Numbers NOW and Lock Grid

If enabled:

  • Axis numbers will be revealed immediately

  • The grid will be locked and no further changes can be made

If left OFF:

  • Axis numbers will reveal automatically at game time


Winning Squares

Winning squares are automatically calculated for you.

  • You can view results anytime by scrolling below the grid


Save or Delete Grid

Save Grid Settings
Make sure to click this to apply any changes.

Delete This Grid
Permanently removes the grid. This action cannot be undone.


Important Notes

  • Some settings may become locked once the grid begins

  • Be sure to review all options before saving

  • Locking the grid early will prevent further edits
