How to Hide Future Picks as the Commissioner of an NCAAB Survivor Contest

If you do not want to be able to view or edit members' future selections, you can enable the Hide Future Picks From Admin setting. This helps ensure fairness by keeping unrevealed picks confidential.

Where to Find This Setting

To hide future picks from admins:

  1. Open the Commissioner Console

  2. Navigate to Contest Settings

  3. Select Display Settings

  4. Enable Hide Future Picks From Admin

What This Setting Does

When enabled, this option prevents admins from seeing members' future picks in administrative tools, including Member Pick Maintenance and Pick Log. Future selections remain hidden until they are revealed by the contest timeline.

Impact on Admin Capabilities

Enabling this setting limits administrative access. Admins cannot view unrevealed picks, cannot edit future picks, and pick management is restricted to revealed selections only. Use this option only if you are comfortable giving up the ability to manage future picks.

Audit Tracking

For transparency, any change to this setting is logged. An entry is created in the Administrator Pick Modifications Report, maintaining accountability for administrative actions.

When to Use This Setting

You may want to enable this option if the commissioner is also participating in the contest, you want strict confidentiality of picks, or your group requires strong fairness controls.

Summary

The Hide Future Picks From Admin setting prevents commissioners from viewing or editing unrevealed picks, helping ensure a fair Survivor contest experience. Once enabled, administrative access to future selections is restricted until picks become visible through the normal contest flow.
