If you’re unable to edit or submit your picks, it’s typically because the pick deadline has passed. Below are the most common reasons why picks become locked:
The Game or Tournament Has Started
What’s happening:
Picks lock at the official start time of the game or tournament.
Example:
If a golf tournament begins at 8:00 AM ET, all picks for that event lock at that time
If an individual game has started, that specific pick can no longer be edited
Important:
Once play begins, picks can only be edited by the Commissioner (if they see fit)
Support team does not have the ability to add/edit picks for a member after the contest has started
The Entry Deadline Has Passed
What’s happening:
The contest has reached its entry deadline, which prevents:
New entries from being created
Existing picks from being edited (in most formats)
The Contest or Specific Slate Is Locked
What’s happening:
Certain contests lock picks per event or per slate.
You may still see future events, but:
Picks for already started events are locked
Only upcoming events may remain editable (if applicable)
Commissioner Settings
What’s happening:
The commissioner may have configured settings that affect pick visibility or editing.
Examples:
Picks are hidden until the deadline
Entry deadlines are set earlier than game start
Contest settings prevent late edits
Note:
Commissioners can override pick locks once the event has started.
Summary
Your picks are locked because one or more of the following has occurred:
The game or tournament has already started
The contest entry deadline has passed
The specific event/slate is locked
Commissioner settings restrict edits
