What Commissioners Can and Cannot Do (EO Contests)

Understanding commissioner permissions helps avoid confusion when managing your contest.

What Commissioners CAN Do

  • Edit contest settings (before lock) & before picks entered by members

  • Manage members (before the contest starts)

  • Send and re-send invite links

  • Customize scoring and rules

  • Override pick deadlines once games begin

  • Enter or edit picks on behalf of members

  • View reports and contest data

  • Create custom leaderboard segments

What Commissioners CANNOT Do

  • Add co-commissioners

  • If picks entered by members, specific settings cannot be edited

  • Add members after the contest has started

  • Restore deleted entries automatically

  • Use Splash to collect or distribute payments

  • Edit salary cap values (PGA)

  • Add tournaments outside of the contest format

  • Request Settings that are not already an option

Important Notes

  • Many settings become locked once the contest starts

  • All commissioner actions are tracked in reports

Summary

Commissioners have control over contest setup and management, but certain limitations are in place to ensure fairness and consistency.
