NFL Squares -->Grid Tab --> Single Game (Private Self-Managed)

If Single Game is selected, the commissioner fills out the following fields to configure the grid:

Basic Settings

  • Week of Game — Select which week of the season (e.g., Week 1)

  • Game — Pick the specific matchup for that week

  • Grid Placement — Choose whether this grid stands on its own or is linked to another:

    • Standalone

    • Child of parent

  • Grid Name — Optional; defaults to the matchup name if left blank

  • Max Number of Squares Per User — Set a limit, or choose Unlimited

  • Scoring Mode — Manual is currently the only available option, giving the commissioner full control over marking winning squares however they'd like. (Automated scoring based on final score, and Automated scoring per quarter, are shown and will be available shortly, if not already).

Advanced Settings

  • Grid Size — Choose 25, 50, or 100 squares

  • Sets of Numbers on the Grid — Choose 1 set of numbers (used for the entire game) or 4 sets (one new set per quarter)

  • Axis Numbers on the Grid Are — Choose how the 0–9 axis numbers get assigned:

    • Randomly Assigned — numbers populate automatically once the commissioner locks the grid or the game starts (whichever happens first)

    • Custom Assigned — the commissioner manually fills in and sets the axis numbers themselves

  • Axis Labels — Choose which team is on which axis:

    • Away on Top, Home on Side

    • Home on Top, Away on Side

  • Number each pickable square on the grid (1–100) — Toggle to display a reference number on each square

  • Paid Tracking — Choose how square payment status is displayed:

    • No Tracking

    • Show tracking on grid for commissioner only

    • Show tracking on grid for everyone

Once all settings are configured, the commissioner clicks Create grid to finalize.
