Lives Settings
Setting | What It Does | Default | Notes |
Tie Game Outcome | How a tie game is graded for the picked team. | Loss | Options: Win; Loss. Ties are rare but always generate tickets — point to this setting. |
Entry Lives | How many losses before elimination (a.k.a. mulligans). | 1 | Options: any whole number 1–18. A value of 1 means instant elimination on the first loss. |
Stop Issuing Lives After Week | Cutoff week after which no more lives/mulligans are granted. | None | Only shown when Entry Lives is greater than 1. |
Summary: Entry Lives is the single biggest lever for how forgiving a pool feels. Stop Issuing Lives After Week lets a commissioner front-load that forgiveness into the early season only, tightening things up as the pool narrows down.
