The Dashboard is your main starting point for setting up and managing your contest. You'll see a Welcome to your contest checklist that walks you through the most important steps to get your contest ready for entrants.
Your NHL Commissioner Dashboard
At the top of your Dashboard, you can quickly see information about your contest, including:
Entries available
Invites sent
Entrants who have entered
As entrants begin joining your contest, these numbers will update.
Complete Your Contest Setup
The Welcome to your contest section provides a setup checklist for commissioners.
Step 1: Contest Created
You're all set! Your NHL contest has successfully been created.
Step 2: Set Up Entry Fee Collection
Next, decide how you want to handle payments for your contest.
You can select Set up Contest Vault to collect and distribute payments online through LeagueSafe. Using Contest Vault also waives the Splash service fee.
If you prefer to handle payments outside of Splash, select I'll manage payments myself (just like RYP/OFP)
Step 3: Review Contest Settings
Your contest will start with default settings that work for most commissioners, but we recommend reviewing them before inviting your entrants.
Select Review settings to customize the available rules, entries, pick settings, lock times, and other options for your NHL contest.
It's important to review these settings before your contest begins, as some settings may no longer be editable once the contest is underway.
Step 4: Send Invites
Once you're happy with your settings, you're ready to invite your players.
Select Start inviting players to send invitations through Splash, or select Copy contest link to share your contest invitation link directly with your group.
Understanding the Tabs on the Left Side
The menu on the left side of your contest gives you access to your entrant and commissioner tools.
My Entries allows you to view and manage your own entries in the contest.
Activity shows activity associated with your contest.
Contest Details provides information about the contest.
Dashboard is your main commissioner overview and setup page.
Contest Settings is where you review and customize the available settings for your NHL contest.
Entrants Manager allows you to view and manage the entrants and entries in your contest.
Invites Manager is where you can invite players and manage invitations.
Contest Vault is where you can set up and manage payment collection and payouts when using Contest Vault.
Service Fee is where you can view information related to the service fee for your contest.
Before Inviting Your Players
We recommend completing the setup checklist and reviewing your Contest Settings before sending invitations.
Once everything looks the way you want it, start inviting your group and get ready for your NHL contest!
